The pool complex is a real showpiece and there are all sorts of sports to enjoy, as well as a wide range of activities organised for children by the 'Cypsy Club'. The park itself is picturesquely situated on a steep hillside close to a beautiful sandy cove. All of the pitches are on terraces, some quite steep, and some with stunning views over the bay of nearby Palamós, and with some enjoying the shade. Camping Internacional de Calonge is set on a hillside overlooking the sweeping bay of Palamos. This is a well run and lively site, with modern facilities and beautiful beach on the doorstep. The pitches are located on terraces at the top of the site, separated by small shrubs and with some shade from the mature trees. In high season, young children will love the tractor train that takes you to the pitches from the bottom of the site. There is plenty going on to keep the whole family amused, with activities and evening entertainment most days in high season. The pool complex, with two full sized pools and a separate children's pool, is surrounded by an extensive terrace.
