An ideal place for relaxing or as a base for exploring the countryside and nearby towns this park is located on Lake Idro, one of the smaller Italian lakes, west of Lake Garda, and offers superb views of the surrounding area. As motorboats are not permitted the lake it is perfect for windsurfing or swimming. Just 1km away you will find the small town of Crone or you can use the park's own restaurant, bar and shop. East of Idro is an enormous natural area that extends right to the western shores of Lake Garda; and to the North of the lake is the mountainous province of Trentino or Alt'Adige.

With four pools, including children's pools and a busy entertainment programme with organised waters ports on the beach and a children's playground, it's ideal for those who like to stay busy on holiday. With plenty of shade available around the pool area, as well as sunbathing space it will appeal to those less active. You can enjoy tennis, volleyball, aerobics, aqua-aerobics and lake fishing here. A bar, restaurant and supermarket are available to cater for most needs, but should you wish to get out and about, Del Garda is within very easy reach of the many local attractions including the 'Gardaland Theme Park' and 'Caneva World Waterpark'.

At weekends during June and throughout July and August, the park entertainment team provides a variety of activities including games, shows and competitions. And after a busy day there is no better way to unwind than over a leisurely meal in the friendly restaurant with its wonderful lake views. Bella Italia is also ideally placed for sightseeing, based as it is on the south eastern tip of Lake Garda, at the start of the 'Olive Tree Riviera' and less than a mile from the lovely town of Peschiera. From here you can wander along the Mincio River and visit the Sigurtà Botanical Gardens and the spectacular walled city of Mantua.

Cisano/San Vito at Lake Garda

This attractive park on the eastern shores of Lake Garda is situated just outside the small village of Cisano di Bardolino to the north of the old Venetian port of Lazise. San Vito is set just away from the lake but shares facilities, including a lakeside beach, with adjacent Cisano; access via an underpass. A welcoming and friendly park which has the advantage of generally grassy emplacements on both sites, with holiday homes on San Vito and canvas on Cisano. San Vito has a small pool, but most facilities, including a larger pool complex, restaurant and bar, are on Cisano. There's a lively animation programme from mid-May when games and competitions are on offer for all the family as well as fortnightly outdoor discotheques.
