In a very popular family area, this excellent park is regarded as one of the best in the Vendee. It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). The focal point of this modern park is the swimming complex that has outdoor and indoor pools, heated pools, jacuzzi and slides/chutes. There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. The park is located in a quiet area of St. Georges D'Oleron with good access to the many cyclist-only roads that run around the island. The 'Plaisance' beach offers a broad sweep of golden sand and the unusual sight of Fort Boyard close by. Out and about, you are just 1km from the Saumonards forest, and you will find the town itself to be a quaint little place, dedicated to fishing and the oyster industry. Domaine D'Oleron is ideal for those families who intend to visit attractions off park during their stay, with many beautiful beaches in easy reach. The small bar and takeaway service are situated in a poolside marquee.

In the evening, you can have a relaxing drink in the bar, which is also the scene of regular family discos in high season, or perhaps enjoy a meal in the equally pleasant restaurant. There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.

Set in unspoilt countryside, this attractive, well kept campsite has grassy pitches bordered by low hedges and small trees providing some privacy. Not far from the town of La Tranche-sur-Mer, Camping Bel is a small site and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
